Jaclyn S. Hakes, AICP Receives 2013 Alumni Award from the University at Albany
Jaclyn S. Hakes, AICP, MJ's Director of Planning, was presented with the 2013 Alumni Award by the University at Albany Department of Geography and Planning during a World Town Planning Day event at the University at Albany on November 8, 2013. The award is presented each year to alumni that make outstanding and significant contributions to the Graduate Planning Student Association and the planning profession. As a volunteer member of the Graduate Planning Program Community Advisory Board and the Education Officer for the Upstate New York Chapter of the American Planning Association, Ms. Hakes works to bring together students and professional planners and to support student activities related to the planning profession. Additionally, Ms. Hakes is a frequent guest speaker for the Professional Planner Series at the University.
