MJ Presents at Statewide Conference on Local Bridges

Dan Eckert, PE and Chad Schneider, PE, of MJ's transportation group, recently presented on the Third Avenue Bridge Rehabilitation project at the Statewide Conference on Local Bridges (SCLB). This project required extensive railroad coordination. The bridge is the main thoroughfare for carrying traffic over the railroad lines that bisect the City of Rensselaer. The rehabilitation of the bridge included replacement of high rocker bearings and deck joints, repairs to the steel superstructure and substructure piers, upgrades to the bridge fencing, lighting, and bridge painting.
