Happy 35th Birthday MJ!
MJ officially celebrates its 35th birthday on June 1st! The firm began in 1979 as a two-person firm offering civil engineering services out of a home office in Clifton Park. Today, the firm has grown to a 90-person, full-service firm with six offices throughout New York State, offering not only civil engineering, but also structural and environmental design, architecture, construction inspection, bridge inspection, landscape architecture, water and wastewater engineering, land surveying, 3D laser scanning, and planning. While other firms have downsized in previous years, MJ has shown tremendous growth by nearly doubling in size over the past five years. The firm has also provided engineering services, as prime, on large term agreements for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York State Office of General Services, and New York State Department of Transportation. MJ focuses on being responsive, flexible and client-oriented, with the ability to meet project demands without producing additional, unnecessary deliverables.
