MJ Receives APA Planning Excellence Awards
MJ has been engaged is disaster recovery and resiliency planning in over 50 communities statewide through the NY Rising Program. The firm has been assisting communities in the Southern Tier, the Hudson Valley, and the Mohawk Valley.
Recently, MJ was part of a team that received awards from the NY Upstate Chapter of the American Planning Association (APA) for initiatives within the NY Rising Program. The team was given a Planning Excellence Award for Innovation in Sustaining Places for the Village of Sidney, and the Planning Excellence Award for Grassroots Initiatives in the Town of Prattsville. The awards were presented at the NY Upstate APA Annual Conference in Rochester.
